Venture to a community of artisans

Venture to a neighborhood situated 20 kilometers south of the city center. Lurin is a community that became a haven for artisans from Ayacucho seeking refuge from the turmoil of terrorism in the late 1980s.

Visit three artisan workshops, where the skilled craftsmen and women from Ayacucho showcase their exceptional talents in ceramic and textile works. These artisans, now integral members of the Lurin community, produce exquisite handcrafted goods that are celebrated and exported worldwide.

Lunch will be hosted in one of the community's welcoming homes, savoring authentic flavors amidst the warmth of local hospitality.
